Neglecting essential hygiene measures within establishments
-
The maintenance of floors, ceilings and drainage systems was inadequate.

Business operations suffered from inadequate staff training programs related to health and safety best practices.

Businesses failed to implement protective measures including mask wearing and glove usage as well as maintaining physical distance in their establishments.
Inspection campaigns
The Health Control Department of the municipality completed 31,462 inspections throughout the previous year. The inspections produced 1,525 official warnings and led to several business closure orders for companies that violated health regulations repeatedly.
Al Afkham said: Al Afkham stated that the purpose of the inspection campaigns was to keep Fujairah as an exemplary place for public health and safety. The inspections targeted upholding the city's clean professional image and food safety for consumers along with identifying improper food handling practices.
Fujairah Municipality enforces a complete ban on unauthorized pesticide activities while permitting only licensed professionals to conduct pest control operations.
The municipality actively fights against disease-transmitting pests including mosquitoes, flies and rodents. Al Afkham pointed out that these efforts match global best practices for infestation prevention and environmental health improvement.
Zero tolerance for violators
