UAE Bitcoin investors eye gains as crypto reaches $13M potential
The UAE Bitcoin Investors will surely benefit since the cryptocurrency industry is set to increase significantly especially in the future Trump administration in the US. Experts predicting that Bitcoin will only rise in price were made at the Bitcoin MENA conference in Abu Dhabi, and some said Bitcoin is "digital gold".
Khurram Shroff, a crypto-independent early adopter and tech billionaire, added his optimistic note. "Bitcoin will reach $13 million dollars, says the US businessman Michael Saylor," Shroff said. Right now it’s $100,000. So if somebody buys $500 or $1,000 of Bitcoin, then in time they are basically going to be very rich".
He was commenting at the Bitcoin Mena conference that started in Abu Dhabi on Monday. It is an event that reunites international speakers and visitors to discuss the opportunities, problems and trends in Bitcoin ecosystem, especially in Mena region.
Shroff pointed out that the Trump administration is said to accept crypto and could boost its price still more. ‘The US government already has a bill in place for the purchase of up to 1 million Bitcoin,’ he said, and it may go higher at 6 million. "If the US purchases 30-40 per cent of the world’s Bitcoin, it will really go through the roof."
Brandon Green, head of staff at BTC Media, was equally optimistic as Shroff, describing the US government’s action regarding Bitcoin as "historic". "This gives every nation the possibility of a Bitcoin policy in the US,’ he added. US has pretty much set the roadmap for being a pro-Bitcoin nation."
He also said he believed that the UAE, which he called a "leader in Bitcoin regulation" would take the lead of the US and consolidate its position as a crypto-leader.
Abdulla Aldhaheri, from the Blockchain Centre Abu Dhabi, talked about the expansion of Bitcoin beyond transactions. "We’re not going to hold Bitcoin, we’re going to start holding products," he said. ‘People are paying for it already. They already exist as collateral. "There’ll be lending, borrowing, staking and so forth.
Shroff also highlighted the "interesting" collaboration between Bitcoin and artificial intelligence (AI), which he thinks will revolutionize the industry further. ‘AI is transitioning towards AI agents, who could do contract-signing with one another,’ he said. And now for the first time two AI agents actually spoke to each other and they a contract and then paid with Bitcoin. It’s historic and will mean human beings will have even less to do."
