UAE announces official song for National Day
The Union Day Organising Committee has released the official song to mark the 53rd UAE National Day celebrations. Entitled the First Row, it will be performed during the main live telecast on December 2.
The poem, translated in English as “Bedouins Built a Nation”, unites the people with their deep love for the land, and a feeling of pride in their identity. Being the national song during Eid Al Etihad, it stresses on unwavering faith in the leadership that took the Emirates to the heights of success.
The poem in a way advocates the dreams of the future which is expected and believed to be in the hands of enlightened children. They aim at providing a bright destiny to the Emirates meanwhile respecting and adhering to the norms and traditions along with holding the national culture in high esteem.
According to the song, there is an incredible mix between true Bedouin values that embrace tradition and progress and modernity that is prominent in science and civilization. This is the embodiment of the vision of the UAE and its journey, like the Pleiades star that pointed the way to the ancestors, it still does and testifies UAE`s achievements and creativity.
The aforementioned song with words written by the poet Ali Al-Khawar, composed by music director and composer Mohammed Al-Ahmad, and performed by the Emirates Choir is accessible on popular music platforms like streaming sites, Spotify Anghami, YouTube and Apple music.
