UAE airlines say flights to the US not impacted by winter storm
Dubai-based UAE Airlines said on Monday that flights to the United States were spared the winter storm's adverse weather.
Storm — which dumped snow and ice across most of the US — cancelled more than 2,200 flights and disrupted more than 10,000 others.
National carrier Etihad Airways in Abu Dhabi assured passengers all of its US-bound flights were "running as scheduled" on Monday evening.
Dubai’s largest airline Emirates said, too, Monday that "no change" has been made to its service to the US during the bad weather.
The winter storm that gripped more than 12 states sent around 60 million people under a weather warning.
Nearly 250,000 houses went dark after the raging storm headed straight for Washington from the mid US.
