UAE: 33 camel trekkers from 17 countries begin 680km journey to Global Village
 
                                            
It’s 11th edition of yearly "Camel Trek" in UAE. Three hundred and three trekkers from 17 nations have begun a 680-km desert trek in the Emirates.
Starting in Arada in Abu Dhabi’s ‘Empty Quarter’, the runners will finish in the Global Village on December 21.
The travellers will trek for 13 days in the desert on back of desert ship to experience new challenges and adventures in adventure in old Bedouin manners. 
Hamdan Bin Mohammed Heritage Centre (HHC) CEO Abdullah Hamdan Bin Dalmook heads the camel caravan, and he said he is happy to see so many people and the mix of nationalities in the camel trek every year.
The camel caravan is the ambassador of UAE culture, tolerance, endurance and friendship.
