On the evening of Monday 17 March, three Emirati brothers were killed in a car crash in Wadi Al Helo.


As the driver drove the vehicle at speeding, the vehicle had to roll over at least five to six times before rolling down in the valley to catch fire. Sharjah The trio of victims — MKM, MAM, SAM — all aged between 15 and 18 years, were heading to a friend's house to join a group of friends for iftar when the accident occurred, Sharjah Police said on Tuesday.


Others died on the spot while one succumbed to his injuries in Kalba Hospital on Tuesday morning. After being prayed upon at Al Hussain Mosque in Wadi Al Helo, the two young men were buried side by side in the same cemetery. Two were laid to rest after the Isha prayer on Monday and the third on Tuesday.


Police have appealed to motorists to be on their best behaviour, particularly while driving during the holy month of Ramadan and especially the young drivers who rush to their destinations to reach before iftar.
