Good business
This year Homemade has joined the food festival through their booth in one of the kiosks. The kiosks have attracted bigger crowds which help Homemade improve their visibility according to Ranjeet Saini. The restaurant serves only a small number of customers. The restaurant receives recognition through its presence at the kiosks.
Saini mentioned that during the festival they sell between 300 to 400 cups of their top-selling kulfi chai daily which helped improve their sales. The Ramadan food festival has given us a boost because customers keep coming to take chai and taste everything here, according to him.
Worker Nabeel M recorded a 200 percent surge in customer numbers at Spicy Café Mandi & Grill during their Ramadan food festival. Business remains successful through the late nighttime hours. Nabeel explained at 11pm when the restaurant was packed with people that the food festival created a busy atmosphere which would continue until 4 o’clock.
The restaurant maintained its lively atmosphere only during the weekends on regular days. Throughout the month of Ramadan people fill every available seat at the restaurant each day. The current food festival has helped our business achieve good performance.
During Ramadan Fruitbae ice cream and dessert shop experienced excellent sales as customers traveled from Abu Dhabi and Sharjah as well as other emirates to Karama according to staff member Ijas Mohammed. After Ramadan ends business activity reduces significantly but weekends still attract numerous customers.
