People before tech: KT list celebrates GCC Most Influential HR Leaders

UAE’s first English language newspaper is pleased to present the inaugural edition of the Most Influential GCC HR Leaders list. This initiative serves to kickstart a new editorial initiative aimed at showcasing the figures and innovations that are fundamentally transforming the region’s most pivotal industries. 

We commence this journey by honoring the visionaries in human resources, particularly those that implemented transformational, people-centric strategies in organizations during the age of exponential technological advances. 

Even as AI and automation adopt a more dominant role in the workforce, technology is only one piece of the work equation– people are equally, if not more, vital. The leaders on this list undeniably validate that having a people-first approach is crucial for sustainable organizational success. 

They are transforming workplace culture by improving inclusivity and representation, fostering the Emiratisation of graduate employment, and strategically aligning HR policies with the technology and growth of the UAE. 

In order to maintain unbiased credibility, the editor selected a panel of five experts from the industry to form a jury. This panel assessed the candidates within a comprehensive and transparent framework premised upon employer branding, workplace culture, retention, Emiratisation, DEI, and other vital indicators.

We take great pride to acknowledge the people who are putting humans at the centre of progress. Their leadership reinforces the idea that it is people, not technology, who will truly drive change in a hyper-advanced future.
