New Year's Eve on Dubai Ferry, abra, water taxi: Timings, special prices announced
Is anyone planning to watch the New Year eve fireworks from the Dubai Ferry this year? The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) is offering special deals and premium service of its marine transport modes namely the Dubai Ferry, Abra and Water Taxi on December 31, 2025.
Families, residents and tourists will embark on a journey along the emirate’s marine transport by captivating and witnessing an awesome carnival of celebrations firing from Burj Khalifa, Burj Al Arab, Atlantis The Palm, Bluewaters and Jumeirah Beach Residence at Dubai Waterfront.
All three…plan to leave between 10 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. on New Year’s Eve, all ending their journeys around 1:30 a.m.
Here’s what you need to know to use the services:
Dubai Ferry
From: Marina Mall Marine Transport Station (Dubai Marina), Al Ghubaiba Marine Transport Station and Bluewaters Marine Transport Station
Tickets: Dh350 for Silver Class and Dh525 for Gold Class, with a 50 per cent discount on tickets for children aged two to 10 years and free entry for under twos.
Water Taxi
Departing from : Marina Mall Marine Transport Station
Price: Full-boat booking is Dh3,750 for 20 people, a designated place being reserved for one passenger with a wheelchair.
Abra
Return to: Al Jaddaf, Al Fahidi, Al Ghubaiba and Marina Mall Marine Transport Stations
Tickets prices: Dh150 per person for a single-ticket fare, two-year-olds can travel free of charge.
