New Year Eve in Dubai: Separate zones for families, bachelors announced at key fireworks venues
Families and bachelors who plan to view New Year’s Eve fireworks from two Emaar venues in Dubai have been allocated viewing areas, the Dubai Municipality announced on Thursday.
The special zones will be available in two main party areas — Downtown Dubai, including the Burj Khalifa show — and Dubai Hills Estate.
In Downtown Dubai you will find fireworks, light and laser spectacles, fountains, music, big screens and Burj Park. Besides, Dubai Hills Estate will also have DJ shows, screens, games, and live art performances for the children as well, so that you’ll have an amazing time.
The Boulevard, Act 1 and 2, South Ridge, Old Town and Cascade Garden — For viewing by families in Downtown Dubai, these venues include. Bachelors will have their own areas like the space above Roof Hotel, behind Burj Vista, behind Burj Views, near Zabeel Mall, behind Vida Residence.
Gate 1 of Burj Plaza, Gate 2 of Opera Grand are the gates into the attraction, there are 6 gates for families and one for reservations.

Security and protection measures have been put in place by authorities with 10,000+ personnel including 8,000 police, as well 33 security tents on the site. More than 200 ambulances and 1,800 clinicians will be ready for any situation, backed up by 10 urgent care hospitals.
Major roads will be closed from 4pm on December 31 along key highways like Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Boulevard and Burj Khalifa Street. Attendees are advised to reach the venue no later than 4pm to avoid queues. It’s midnight and the fireworks will be launched from 36 venues in Dubai to launch New Year 2025 spectacularly. It also comes with all safety precautions in place which will make it a fun and safe party for all the people.
