New Year 2025: Free parking, toll gate timings announced in Abu Dhabi
Abu Dhabi: Surface parking fee will remain zero from Wednesday, 1st January 2025 and 8am on Thursday, 2nd January 2025. Parking in the Musaffah M-18 truck parking lots will also be free of charge during New Year holiday as well.
They also said that the Darb toll gate network will also be free of cost on Wednesday for the public holiday. Gate charges will be raised again Thursday, January 2, 2025 at high traffic periods (7am to 9am and 5pm to 7pm).
Abu Dhabi Mobility reminded motorists to park no where illegally and do not act in ways that could interfere with the flow of traffic. It also reminded drivers to drive in the correct spaces and not park in private car parks between 9pm and 8am.
The Integrated Transport Centre of the Department of Municipalities and Transport also confirmed the dates and operation of its Customer Happiness Centres, public buses for the public holiday.
The happiness centres will be closed from 1 January and work resumes on Thursday, 2 January. But the customer can still apply for the services via Abu Dhabi Mobility website: https://admobility.gov.ae/, Darbi, Darb websites and applications, as well as TAMM digital government service website in Abu Dhabi. You can also call on 800850 or Taxi Call Centre: 600535353 the single Service Support Centre of the Department of Municipalities and Transport to ask for a service 24 hours.
When it comes to public bus services and schedules in Abu Dhabi during the holiday, Abu Dhabi Mobility told that the buses will run according to the schedule as it did during weekends and official holidays, and will also be performing regional and intercity travels.
