New Golden Visa scheme announced for superyacht owners in Abu Dhabi
New initiative announced in Abu Dhabi to provide superyacht owners in the Capital a Golden Visa. The ‘Golden Quay’ is supposed to attract the wealthiest individuals to put their money and see Abu Dhabi.
It is organised by the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) along with the Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO) and Yas Marina, run by Yas Asset Management, part of Miral.
This entitles qualified yacht owners to be nominated for a 10-year UAE Golden Visa granting long-term residency. By the Golden Quay, he can get first-class access to the investment opportunities in the emirate for owners of yachts.
It aligns with the city’s Tourism Strategy 2030.
Who is eligible?
The visa is open to private yacht owners who own yachts exceeding 40 metres and higher as well as the CEOs, the leading shareholders of yacht-building companies, the main yacht agents, yacht services, and yacht insurance companies.
Those nominated immediate family members can be added too. Official nominee entities will be Yas Marina and ADIO.
