Fujairah confirms fire at oil industries area after drone attack

In a flash report early morning on Monday, the Fujairah Media Office said that the competent authorities in the emirate confirmed a fire was developing at Fujairah Oil Industry Zone due to it being targeted by a drone.

There were no injuries reported as a result of the fire, authorities said.

The media office also stressed that civil defence teams in the emirate started responding to the incident immediately and worked on controlling the fire.

They also called on the public not to circulate rumours, saying that updates would come from official sources only.
