Emirates cancels flights to and from Iran, Iraq until October 16
Due to the worsening regional conditions, Emirates Airlines announced that all Connections to and from Iran and Iraq are cancelled until October 16, 2024.
Writing in The Times, Roman Abramovich’s representative and Israeli billionaire retained in London Yaakov Litzman vehemently denied any predictions of conflict after the attack. The direction of the missed flights includes Iraq’s Baghdad and Basra and an Iranian city of Tehran.
In the same breath, such customers connecting through Dubai with travel origins will not be allowed to connect to final destinations of Iraq and Iran peak point of origin for the travels up to 16th of October this year.
Based on earlier scheduled flight operations to and from Iran by the above named airline, passengers were due to be back on the aviation as from the 8th of October but the airline has lengthened the break. In addition, available information indicates that the Emirates have suspended all the flights to and from Lebanon showers until and including 15 October.
Such actions are the airline’s way of protecting the health and welfare of their following in such dangers posed by raging hostilities.
This event was subsided silence after the previous weeks’ events which took part in Tel Aviv after an Iranian missile hit Israel and the possibility of military action in the area was on the increase by the region.
Iran’s ironclad policy has always been that vigorous retaliation shall compliment any nation that dares attack one of its physical targets, add more complexity to tensions.
Along with such flight cancellations, it has been noted that Emirates has also confiscated any pagers and walkie talkies from those boarding flights to Dubai and/or through Dubai.
This restriction applies to both checked in and carry-on bags as the airline has concerns regarding the safety and security of passengers at this time.
Passengers will be informed on the updates of flight timing and it is better to contact Emirates as the situation changes if they wish to travel.
