The police and health emergency services were coordinated in no time and they blocked the section of a street once the security investigation started.
Early Monday morning, a young woman fell to her death from a high-rise building in the vicinity of Sheikh Zayed Road. As per reports, the incident happened during the early morning hours.
Her body was found on the ground, around five o'clock, around an RTA parking lot which is close to the Second Home café accesses located on the bottom floor of Escape Tower, a building where she lived. It is suspected that she jumped from a balcony. Her details and nationality have not been established yet.
Police and medical emergency workers also reached out in a shovel and yellow tapes were put off from the café RTA car park to a small salon up the road. Eyewitnesses said that some officers interrogated the building’s guards and even households once the investigation began. The situation remained hermetically sealed since the authorities proceeded with their work.
The paramedics took the body away at around 7 30 am. One such Indian resident who was dropping her child at the school bus recounted her distress over the site. “It was very disturbing,” she said. Paramedics and police officers crowded the place where a corpse draped in a blue tarpaulin lay. My child asked questions that I could not provide answers to, why the body had those answers.”
Escape Tower is a residential building in Business Bay popular among young professionals due to the closeness to the Business Bay Metro Station. Several residents, for instance those in Al Batha Tower noted that the vents set off police sirens and alarms approximately at the same time the incident took place.
More information from the inquiry is expected as officials seek details behind the woman’s unusual death. Expect to see much weather news throughout the season.
