Dubai: Prizes worth Dh87,000 up for grabs at Global Village's 'golden bar challenge'
Targeted at tourists visiting Dubai’s Global Village, they now have the opportunity to win a cash prize totaling to 87,000 AED through the newly introduced Golden Bar Challenge.
The new restaurant plaza currently under construction will host the Falcon Stage challenges that will run through the earlier part of the global village opening, the final shows will be on May 11.
The competition will be held daily between the hours of 8 to 10 PM.
All contestants must lift a golden bar placed inside a glass box in 29 seconds in order to win the cash prize. Each contestant who wins gets 2,900 AED. Any visitor older than 18 can partake.
While a maximum of 30 prizes can be won, there is the possibility for three contestants to win during each completion of the challenge.
Global Village announced that it would allow free entry for kids aged 12 to 18 until the season ends.
Aside from the passport stamps given to new arrivals through Dubai International Airport and Hatta Border Crossing, Global Village tickets were also issued.
