Dubai Police offers 175 job vacancies; career fair starts today
For university graduates, there are going to be 50 positions while for high school graduates there will be 125 positions
The time has come for candidates who are armed with a university degree or a high school diploma to make their applications’ to the Dubai police force institutions. Interested candidates may attend the 2024 UAE Careers Fair ‘Ru’ya that will take place at the Dubai World Trade Centre from Tuesday September 24, 2014 until September 26, 2014.
Couple of days back Dubai Police made an announcement stating that a total of 175 job vacancies will be available, out of which 50 vacancies will be for university graduates' and the remaining 125 will be for those with high school diplomas. 50 positions will be made available for graduates in different fields of study at the university while 125 positions will be allocated for high school graduates.
As per colonel Hamad bin Dafous, the selection and recruitment department director in the general department of human resources of Dubai police, Dubai police will be providing the electronic gadgets at the trade fair which will help the job seekers to apply smartly at the Dubai police.

Above 18 and below years of an age protects

The applicant’s high school diploma or university degree shall be from an educational institution in the country approved by appropriate government authorities.

The national must complete the exams, medical tests and interview as required

The applicant being a citizen ought not to have any conviction of any crime of dishonesty and/or breach of trust.

They similarly have to refrain from having been dishonorably discharged from any armed forces or any security, police or government service.
The Assistant Commander Administrative Affairs Major General Ahmad Mohammed Rafea noted that the initiative of taking part in the 2024 UAE Careers Fair by Dubai Police assists the country in achieving the strategic objective to enhance the role of the youth of the UAE. National service recruitment is very important especially encouraging both men and women into the security forces.
“This will assist Dubai Police to attain strategic goal management of Dubai as a safe city and at the same time working to the interest of the community and enhancing the creativity in the institutional assets and human capital,” he said.
According to major-general Dr Saleh Abdullah Murad…over the last three years, Dubai Police have utilized the career fairs and offered a total of 504 job vacancies and for the year 2023 alone -191 posts, 197 in 2022 and 116 in 2021 respectively.
