Dubai: Now, pay traffic fees, fines in instalments via all digital channels of RTA
Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has now rolled out Tabby, an instalment payment platform it had previously deployed in smart kiosks last year, to all of its digital channels; the RTA website, the RTA app and the nol Pay app.
Last year, RTA entered into a partnership with Tabby to allow RTA customers payment in instalments through its smart kiosks.
At Tabby — the way you can now split your payment into four instalments — option 170 (out of 170) you can now purchase vehicle and driving licence renewals as well as traffic fines all across RTA's digital channels.
Vehicle number plates will also come with flexible payment solutions, such as instalment options.
The move is in line with Dubai's Cashless Strategy and enhances the leadership's vision of avirtual and smart government. Furthermore, it improves the digital payment experience for RTA services which leads to an increase in customer satisfaction, digital uptake, and public revenue collection for the Government of Dubai.
Tabby technology helps more than 40,000 local and international brands and businesses grow by providing consumers with flexible payment options online and in stores. Tabby is available in Saudi Arabia, UAE and Kuwait.
