Dubai: New variable parking fees to apply at event locations from February 17

In a statement on Wednesday, Parkin confirmed that variable parking charges will now be introduced across some part of Dubai.

The public parking operator proclaimed that, during events, there would be a charge of Dh25 per hour in the vicinity of the event zones. The amended tariff will be effective February 17.

The operator indicated that it advises "public transport, if you're going to an event zone". It also in of labelled a Grand Event Zone the Dubai World Trade Centre area of Dubai. So it was, a few days earlier in the beginning of December, when the largest operator of public parking facilities in Dubai announced the increase of parking tariffs in zone F areas.

Starting February 1st, all zone F parking spots are affected by the new fees. Facility locations (Al Sufouh 2, The Knowledge Village, Dubai Media City, Dubai Internet City)
