Dubai Golden Visa comes as 'recognition' for long-term teachers
Golden Visas for exceptional educators will be accepted from the 15th of October, 2024
Dubai veteran teachers stressed the importance of the Golden visa for educators as a means not only in providing security in the sector but also raising the image of the profession itself to be at par with other professions in the country.
DUBAI, UAE: Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Crown Prince and Defence Minister, announced onSaturday that people who contributed significantly to Dubai’s private education sector will be the Educators who will now due to the changes issued Golden Visas.
Consistently with the announcement, it is further focused on by the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA) that the Golden Visas will be offered to such educators who are employed in private institutions such as schools, nurseries and colleges based in Dubai.

The 65-year-old teacher added that, in her 40 years of working, so many families with children in school or university worked short say supported in any level and without body/people to visa arrive stay in the country, which affects the whole family equally.
“Stability offers assurance and safety, and those who have lived in this country for more than ten years deserve an opportunity to at least seek permanent residency. I wish that such a policy prevails in other emirates too,” concluded the teacher who has been teaching since 1984 at Abu Dhabi Indian School.
