Dubai: Celebrate New Year Eve on abra, water taxi, ferry with Atlantis views

With Dubai residents and visitors ready for New Year, in 2025 they can greet the year in the waters of the emirate. 

The Roads and Transport Authority of Dubai announced exclusive discounts and deals on Marine Transport, such as Dubai Ferry, Abra, and Water Taxi on 31 December 2024 New Year’s Eve. 

Passengers can witness the Burj Khalifa, Bluewaters, Atlantis, Burj Al Arab and Jumeirah Beach Towers. Residents can enjoy 2025 on the Dubai Ferry, Water Taxi, and Abra as they view the Dubai coast, lined with hotels, heritage parks and attractions like The World Islands.

Timings, fees

Dubai Ferry  

• Fees - Silver Class: Dh350 ticket; Gold Class: Dh525 ticket. 50 per cent off for children aged two to 10 years and no charge for children under the age of two. 

• Stations- Marina Mall Station (Dubai Marina), Al Ghubaiba Station and Bluewaters Station. 

• Time- Departs at 10pm till 10.30pm & ends at 1.30am. 

Water Taxi  

• Taxi Fees - Dh3,750 charter for a full Water Taxi. 

• Station- Marina Mall Station (Dubai Marina) 

• Time - 10 pm – 10.30pm, 1.30am: Depart at 10.30pm and return at 1.30am. 

Abra  

• Fees - Dh150 per person.  Kids under two get in for free. 

• Station - Al Jaddaf, Al Fahidi, Al Ghubaiba and Marina Mall (Dubai Marina) 

• Dates - Depart at 10.30pm and 11.30pm and reach at 1.30am.
