Dubai: Book taxis via WhatsApp with Hala's new feature
Passengers can access rides easily at any time of day or night, as the service is available 24/7.
It is now easier for people in Dubai to book a taxi, thanks to the new service offered by Hala, where commuters can now hail a cab through WhatsApp.
The new addition is designed to enhance the passengers' overall experience. WhatsApp enables us to connect with a broader demographic and interact with its extensive user community within the city. Hala CEO Khaled Nuseibeh stated on Wednesday that by adding this new booking option, Hala is continuing to change the way people travel daily in Dubai. Hala is a partnership between Roads and Transport Authority and Careem.
Passengers have access to rides at any time of day or night since the service operates 24/7. Apart from booking through WhatsApp, Hala is also providing their standard booking service on the Careem app.
How to Book
1.The booking procedure can be initiated by sending a "Hello" message to 800 HALATAXI (4252 8294) by travellers. When a passenger books a ride, the Hala chatbot will ask for their location.
2. After that, a booking confirmation including the captain's details and the approximate time of arrival will be sent to the passengers.
3. Customers may follow their travel till the taxi arrives thanks to the real-time updates that are provided.
4. To trace their journey, passengers will receive a live tracking link that they can share with friends and family.
5. Cash or a credit card can be used to pay at the drop-off location.
