To start with, the convenience and shorter travel time of staycations are attractive to numerous locals who enjoy a brief escape without the complications of going abroad. Purcell stated that the UAE has numerous top-tier hotels and resorts with great amenities, eliminating the need for locals to go overseas for relaxation.

He described how residents are increasingly attracted to properties that provide special experiences and top-notch amenities.

Places near shopping centers

Tourism professionals emphasized that staycationers consist of a group of UAE residents who cannot go overseas because of expenses, lack of time off, or a choice to not travel.

These people tend to opt for lodging options close to shopping centers in order to maximize their visit.

Vinayak Mahtani, CEO of bnbme Holiday Homes, mentioned that lots of people bring their family to Dubai in the summer since prices are a quarter of what they are during the winter and peak season.

Mahtani stated that a benefit is how easy it is to make restaurant bookings and the malls are not too busy.
