Dubai Mum Ankita Jain Bhatia Wins Mrs UAE World, Inspired by Aishwarya Rai and Sushmita Sen
Dubai-based model trainer and entrepreneur Ankita Jain Bhatia has been crowned Mrs UAE World 2026, marking a major milestone in her career.
A mother of a six-year-old son, she believes marriage and motherhood should not prevent women from pursuing their ambitions.
Her passion for modelling began during her school years in India and has developed into a career spanning more than two decades.
Inspired by Indian beauty queens Aishwarya Rai and Sushmita Sen, Bhatia now hopes to build a legacy of her own while representing the UAE internationally.
From Modelling Dreams to a Beauty Pageant Crown
Bhatia discovered her interest in fashion while studying in Class 10, when an opportunity to participate in a photo shoot opened the door to modelling.
With encouragement from her family, she pursued the industry and later worked as a model trainer in India.
After moving to the UAE because of her husband's work, she continued building her career rather than putting her professional goals on hold.
Her experience has helped her develop confidence, discipline and poise, qualities she now brings to her role as Mrs UAE World 2026.
Family Support and Dubai’s Opportunities
Bhatia credits her husband and young son for supporting her pageant journey.
She also describes the UAE as a place that gave her the confidence and opportunities to expand her ambitions.
Alongside her professional responsibilities and family life, she follows a disciplined fitness routine that includes strength training and outdoor running.
Rather than viewing the crown as simply a beauty achievement, she sees it as a platform to connect with people and encourage women to continue pursuing their goals at different stages of life.
Inspired by Bollywood Icons, She Has a Bigger Mission
Aishwarya Rai and Sushmita Sen were among the beauty queens who inspired Bhatia before she entered the pageant world herself.
However, she says her immediate goal is not to pursue Bollywood but to establish a meaningful identity of her own.
She is preparing to represent the UAE at the international Mrs World competition in Las Vegas and hopes to use her growing visibility to raise awareness about women's safety.
Through future awareness campaigns and educational initiatives, she wants her journey to encourage women to pursue their ambitions with confidence.
