In UAE the security of people, ease of their lives, and the quality of life have always been in the first place. Due to this new services and changes of policy are introduced from time to time, after careful consideration of necessary factors.

At least six new regulations and changes came into force in the second half of the year alone passing new paid parking areas and including a license for influencers among the other policies.

The last quarter of the year will begin within the next few days, and accordingly, it will be the time for more changes too.

1. New traffic radars

The people of Ajman can welcome a safer driving environment as new traffic radars will be put in place to monitor and prosecute offenders who commit such serious acts as using phones while driving and not using seat belts. Would remember that both of these offenses are subject to a penalty of a Dh400 fine and 4 black points.

This intelligent supervision system shall commence w.e.f. October 01.

2. Express entry to US

Emirates with a valid US Visa will not have to wait in queues or fill out unnecessary forms whenever they come into the specifically signed agreement that was signed with the UAE President on his visit to Washington.

Starting from October, the citizens of UAE will also be eligible to register for the US Global Entry Programme, which will speed up the landing procedure and give them rapid check-in privileges.

They will be able to do so by checking in at a Global Entry kiosk at the Pre-clearance facility of the US Customs and Border Protection or any other US port, instead of queuing with the other passengers and fulfilling additional processes.

3. Mandatory genetic testing

As of 1 October, it would be a must for UAE nationals who are planning to get married in Abu Dhabi to undergo genetic tests as part of pre-marital medical screening procedures.

The Center for Healthcare and Rehabilitation services from this jurisdiction i.e. Abu Dhabi, Al Dhafra and Al Ain has 22 primary healthcare centers where couples can complete the service.

The genetic testing results are going to be availed in 14 days. This screening reduces the risk of couples having children with such diseases by determining whether both individuals possess recessive or mutation genes which can cause certain diseases in their offspring.
