Be Beach transforms into a party scene for the weekend. The Dubai Harbour waterfront hotspot will welcome one of South Africa's top DJs to perform in the city. On Friday, Feb 7 at 8pm Shimza will perform behind the decks beginning his set. The entry fee begins at Dh200 for each person while tables cost Dh4,000.
Valeron will take control of the decks starting 7pm on Sat, Feb 8. The combination of his entrancing rhythms and captivating discography ensures you'll keep your feet tapping to the beat until morning. Women can enter for free before 8pm but men pay Dh150. Dh4,000 (table).
From 7pm onwards Birds of Mind will perform centrestage one day later. Nature and worldwide travel serve as primary sources of inspiration for Paris-based musicians Alex H. and Adrian C. which results in their music achieving world-class standards. Eat at the Chef’s Table
Luciano invites gourmands this weekend to join him at the Chef’s Table. Chef Manuel Jose Caicedo will guide you through a six-course menu consisting of homemade pasta alongside juicy heirloom tomatoes and perfectly charred grilled meat. You will witness the chef making pastries directly before you. The dessert is quite delicious but there are only four places available at this table so make your reservation soon.

The play Gidion's Knot written by Johanna Adams features direction by Osman Aboubakr alongside performances by Eliane Germanos and Caroline Hamren. A mother mourning her loss and a stressed primary school teacher meet during a parent-teacher conference and begin discussing their student Gideon’s life. The talk explores how teachers and adults affect children's lives.

See the Barber of Fleet Street
The experience will be thrilling and scary but brilliant at the same time. The Dubai Opera is currently hosting Stephen Sondheim’s Sweeney Todd and this weekend marks the final opportunity to experience the Barber in performance. The Tony Award-winning musical that has received eight trophies continues its Dubai run until February 8. Tim Burton directed the cinematic adaptation of the story about a man devastated by betrayal who turns into a bloodthirsty killer starring Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter but the stage version will deliver an incomparable experience. The Worst Pies in London and Poor Thing are two songs that audiences can sing along to while also sneering.

Visit Naruto and the gang
Do not miss this exhibit if you are a fan of the persistent Shonen character Naruto. Naruto: The Gallery has arrived in Dubai straight from Japan to showcase the world of Konoha, the Hidden Leaf Village. The exhibition features stunning set pieces and animations which include innovative 360-degree theatre displays along with essential moments you should see.
