UAE e& offers support deals for customers hit by conflict
UAE’s biggest telecom operator, e&, has introduced special offers for roaming customers travelling to the Middle Eastern countries in light of the ongoing military conflict that widens regionally.
The company said in a statement that it has now also capped incoming roaming calls in the affected countries at 60 minutes (up from 30 minutes) for calls received until March 9.
For Unlimited subscribers, the company announced 25GB free roaming data until March 9.
It said outgoing roaming calls while in the affected countries are unaffected, and there is no cap on minutes.
The operators only cover calls initiated to the UAE and numbers held by operators within the impacted countries, the company said.
The special offers are available to all mobile customers (corporate and individual) across affected countries in the region, including Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, Jordan and Iraq.
In 2025, e& revenue climbed 23 per cent to a record Dh72. 9 billion and net profit grew to Dh14. 4 billion, a year-on-year rise of 34 per cent.
Recently, Brand Finance stated that e&’s brand value increased seven percent to hit $16.4 billion (Dh60. 2 billion), strengthening its second-place position in the ranking of the most valuable telecoms brands in the region.
The group advanced its global position, climbing two spots to 14th among the strongest telecoms brands globally.
