UAE: How to get night work permit in Dubai and Abu Dhabi
Have a business you have to run outside of regular hours? If you are based in Dubai or Abu Dhabi, then you must get a night work permit if you have employees in some kind of profession or occupation during night time (say between 9pm and 6am). This permit is for worker safety, wellbeing, and labour regulation.
The application process for this permit has been made easier and faster by all emirates. If you’re doing stock control, repair work or other important work at retail outlets or banks inside closed shopping centres, this temporary licence gives you the power to keep your business operational after hours.
The permit is given after the property manager/owner and the Central Bank don’t raise any objection. But the Dubai night worker’s visa is good for 14 days from the date on which it started in the application.
Night work permit in Dubai

Documents required
You have to bring the permit of the place or shopping mall permit and fill out a form on the Dubai Police website. The form asks for Emirates ID, Email address, Contracting company name, Type of work, Work type and Shop Name. And you’ll also have to choose the time. You have to do this again for every number of workers you want to employ.
The permit is for the maintenance or inventory, eg, installation of billboards, cinematography, and cannot be applied for business.

No other fee is charged for getting a temporary night time work permit if you operate your business in Abu Dhabi and it is processed in four hours.
The contract letter needs to mention the company or companies that performed the work, their name, country and phone number, the date and time the work started and was finished. Copy of the contract for the period needed attached for the company with which it isn’t for more than 6 months. - Trade licences, worker IDs, residencies need to be legitimate.
Furthermore, there needs to be a no-objection letter from the commercial centre to extend the requisite working hours and the Central Bank sign and letter (for banks).
