French Minister of Economy Bruno Le Mire has announced that he will cancel his participation in the Forum for the Future of Investment, which Saudi Arabia is preparing to organize next week, in order to join the retreat of the participants in the forum in response to the strong resentment towards the world's largest oil exporter after the disappearance of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi. His death.

"I will not go to Riyadh next week. There are serious facts (about Khashoggi's disappearance)," the minister said in a statement to a local French channel. "All things must be clarified, so I will not go to Riyadh."

As the Davos Forum in the Sahara approaches from October 23 to 25, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) has revealed that fund manager Christine Lagarde has postponed a planned visit to the Middle East that included Riyadh for an investment conference.
