The Abu Dhabi Police's Happiness Patrol has struck again: The Abu Dhabi Police's Happiness Patrol surprised sixty drivers in the emirate when they pulled them over for exemplary driving instead of a traffic violation.

UAE authorities provide rewards to drivers who follow traffic rules to promote road safety and positivity. In past years motorists received free fuel cards and others received 'star of honour' badges as rewards. Authorities used to distribute large television sets as rewards to drivers.

Authorities announced that drivers received gifts during the latest happiness patrol initiative in Al Ain but did not detail the contents of the paper bags they distributed.

Maj Matar Abdullah Al Muhiri from the Deputy Directorate of Traffic Affairs in Al Ain's Traffic Administration of Security Patrol said that Abu Dhabi Police will keep rewarding safe drivers so they can act as examples for others.

The Department of Traffic and Security Patrol Director in Al Ain, Col Jaber Saeedan Mansouri, praised driver efforts to improve road safety.

Law enforcement units across different emirates recognize drivers who follow traffic rules. The Dubai traffic department recognized 22 drivers in 2024 who maintained perfect driving records without traffic violations or accidents in three years.

Sixty drivers received unexpected gifts from Abu Dhabi police for their adherence to traffic regulations. Will you be next?  Sign up for Just Dubai to stay updated with the newest news!
