Samsung Unveils Galaxy S24 Series with Advanced AI and Sustainable Design

South Korean tech giant Samsung has unveiled its latest Galaxy S24 series, featuring three variants: Galaxy S24 Ultra, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24. The new models, set to be available in the UAE later this month, come with advanced AI-packed features and unique design elements. Pre-orders for UAE and Gulf consumers began on Wednesday evening.

The Galaxy S24 series introduces intelligent text and call translations, enhancing the user experience. Live call translation, capable of translating calls in real-time, is a notable feature, providing convenience for users, especially frequent fliers. The devices offer new and unique search options for internet browsing, catering to diverse user preferences.

Prices for the base models range from Dh3,199 to Dh3,499, while the Plus models are priced between Dh3,899 and Dh4,399. The Ultra variant, with additional features, comes with a price range of Dh5,099 to Dh6,599. The Galaxy S24 series is highly anticipated, with Samsung aiming to compete with other flagship models, including Apple's iPhone.

One of the standout features of the Galaxy S24 series is the incorporation of Galaxy AI, designed to enhance everyday lives by opening up new possibilities. The devices offer seven generations of OS upgrades and seven years of security updates, ensuring longevity and relevance.

Environmentally conscious design is a key highlight, as the Galaxy S24 is the first in the Galaxy S series to feature recycled steel and Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU). The Ultra variant includes a minimum of 40% recycled steel in the speakers and 10% pre-consumer recycled TPU in the side and volume keys. The packaging box is made from 100% recycled paper material.

1. Live Translation Facility: The Galaxy S24 series facilitates two-way, real-time voice and text translations of phone calls within the native app, eliminating the need for third-party applications. The on-device AI ensures privacy in conversations.

2. Chat Assist: The Chat Assist feature helps maintain conversational tones in messages and other apps, ensuring clear communication. AI in the Samsung Keyboard can translate messages in real-time in 13 languages.

3. Circle to Search with Google: The Galaxy S24 introduces intuitive, gesture-driven Circle to Search with Google. Users can circle, highlight, scribble, or tap anything on the screen to see helpful, high-quality search results.

4. AI Editing Tools: Galaxy AI editing tools offer features like erase, re-compose, and remaster. Edit Suggestion uses AI to suggest suitable tweaks for each photo, while Generative Edit can fill in parts of an image background with generative AI.

5. Instant Slow-mo: The new Instant Slow-mo feature generates additional frames based on movements, providing a more detailed slow-motion effect.

6. Samsung Knox Security: Galaxy S24 devices come with Samsung Knox, a multi-layer security platform, offering defense-grade protection with end-to-end secure hardware and real-time threat detection.
