Dip in temperature with increasing humidity forecast for UAE

The weather in the UAE is expected to drop. The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has predicted hazy weather during the day with a decrease in the temperature.

Temperatures will range from 40 to 42°C in the interior regions, 40 to 46°C along the coast and 34 to 38°C in the mountains.

The NCM said that humidity will increase over coastal and internal areas with the probability of mist formation. The maximum humidity would be 70 per cent in interior regions and between 50 to 75 per cent in the mountains.

Winds will be moderate to fresh, reaching speeds of 40kmph in some areas. Northwesterly winds might blow dust and sand over some exposed areas.

The sea will be moderate to rough in the Arabian Gulf and in Oman Sea.

The weather will continue to be humid throughout the week with a possibility of cloud formation. According to the NCM weather is expected to increase over internal areas on Thursday. However, the weekend will witness a decrease in temperatures with a possibility of fog and mist formations.
